About The Online Guide to the Namibian Economy

The Online Guide to the Namibian Economy aims to provide accurate and timely information about the Namibian economy. It is maintained by Robin Sherbourne, an economist with a Master’s degree in economics from the London School of Economics. Robin has been working on the Namibian economy for over 30 years, initially from within the National Planning Commission and later in organisations including IJG Securities, the Institute for Public Policy Research (which he co-founded), Insight Namibia magazine (which he also co-founded), the Bank of Namibia, and Old Mutual Namibia. Robin is the author of numerous articles and research papers on all aspects of the economy and has conducted consulting work for a wide variety of clients including the Government of Namibia, the Chamber of Mines of Namibia, mining and other private companies, and public enterprises. He is an associate of the IPPR and IJG and author of the popular Guide to the Namibian Economy now in its fifth edition. You can download a complete list of his publications here.
